How I can apply what I learned in a class topic?

In my classes I use the methodology of collaborative project work. I could do projects for students to make contact with other students from other countries around the world through English. Identify a need that the solution has the data base management and information and generate a final project to develop a website.
Students could make a list of questions to send to their peers and receive the questionnaires of other classmates and answered. The work would have much to do with the handling and processing statistical information
